We made it to Iowa and home in one piece and I am one blessed mother!
The twins were great on the plane, they hardly fussed at all. Madalyn was fabulous as always (she has always been my little trooper though our travels). We didn't get to Dubuque until 4:30am on Friday so we were al little tired, but we survived. We managed to visit the Mississippi River Museum, get 6 month pics, see Coppelia the Ballet, go up and down the 4th Street Elevator, visit the cemetary (my dad and grandpas grave), have lunch with my Aunt and Cousins, and meet with a couple of my old friends in Chicago for dinner. All in just a few short days. We had a great time! I was very sad to say goodbye to my Grandma so quick, but was really happy that I was able to introduce her to the newest additions to our family!
Now I just need a vacation from my vacation...hehehe!
