RICH WITH BLESSINGS

Today as I sit here watching my two beautiful babies nap peacefully I have been reading random blogs from NOT ME MONDAY. I came across many blogs of families who are trying to overcome immense grief of children with cancer and women who are mourning for children they have lost. I am moved beyond measure reading these stories and feel a intense need to count my blessings today.

We are struggling financially with Nate being out of work for over a year and at times I think we get so wrapped up in our daily struggles that we have forgotten the how rich we are...RICH WITH BLESSINGS!

TAYLOR- a little girl who loves being the center of attention. loves soccer, roller blading, bike riding, and playing with siblings. She longs to please everyone around her and tries everyday to be the best helper she can. Amazingly patient. She will be quite the leader someday!

RYAN- A growing little boy who loves hanging out with his friends. Loves to ride his bike and loves all his pets. The most attentive boy in class and eager to please. Sensitive and needs encouragement. Motivated by money... He will be a successful business man someday!

MADALYN- Loves to dance, run, ride her bike. Likes to make people laugh. Has funny little sayings that are so cute...wash closh, smack (snack), restaurangit. Creatively makes up words when unsure of the right one. Aways organizing. Very imaginative, My big dreamer! She will be an inspirational teacher someday!

JACKSON- My smile loving little baby boy, makes everyone around him laugh. Loves talking and faces, needs to know your watching him. Smiles in the middle of the night. Cutest leg rolls I have ever seen. I don't quite yet know his path, but I do know he has made me very blessed!

OLIVIA- My sweet, sweet baby girl. Love snuggles and being close. Tummy sleeping little miss. Loves to fall asleep in front of the fireplace. Sensitive and startles easy. Very calm. Loves to kick her legs...maybe a dancer someday??? I don't quite know her path, but I do know she fills my heart up with so much love!

NATE- My handsome love! still takes my breath away and gives me butterflies when he kisses me. Amazing father, incredible business man, strong leader. Always makes me laugh. Quick witted and smart. Great friend and good listener.

FRIENDS AND FAMILY...THESE ARE MY BLESSINGS! So today I am going to forget all of the little things in life and take notice of these blessings. The Lord has made me a very rich woman!

NOT ME MONDAY

yup...It's that time again. This is started by a fellow blogger named Mckmama at http://www.mycharmingkids.net/ . It is titled Not Me Monday. This is where I get to confess all of my parenting sins that I have committed over the past week. Here I go...

I did not wrap my son in pink at our Superbowl party in front of our neighbors... no, not me! I would never do that to my son! I would recognize the amount of testosterone in the room and never committ that sin!

I did not forget to go to work today... not me!!!!I would never forget something as important as work! I am always on top of my schedule.

I did not drink an obscene amount of caffine this week... not me, I don't drink more than one cup of coffee a day

I did not use my shirt to mop up Jack's puke today during Madalyns dance class while the shirt was still on me. Not me...thats is really gross and I would never do something like that!

I did not let Jack nurse for two hours the other night and sleep through it! Not Me...no way! I would never sleep through two hours of that!!!!
